Tube ball mills are designed for grinding of raw materials and cement clinker with additives in cement production, grinding of different ore minerals and nonmetallic minerals in open cycle or in closed cycle. The mills are used also in manufacturing of construction materials, in mining and mining-and-chemical industry, some other industries for grinding of refractory materials, fertilizers, and ore dressing of ferrous and nonferrous metals.
Material for grinding is charged to the grinding chamber of the barrel mill for degradation. The barrel rotates and material grinding is caused by impacts and friction of grinding media.
Tube ball mills have great reliability, simple design, high productivity and safety in work. They can’t be damaged by non-crushable parts in the mill charge.
The mills productivity depends on the grinding materials properties (resistance, availability for grinding), size of the charged material, wetness, grinding fineness, uniformity of electricity supply and filling the barrel with grinding media and grinding material.
Tube raw mills of МС type are designed for grinding of raw materials of cement production by wet process.
