Roller crushers are best suited for processing of commonly used materials prone to sticking or containing sticking inclusions (clay), as other crushing machines become clogged with such materials, and roller crushers can be equipped with special scrapers, which remove adhering material from the surface of the rolls.

LLC “CEMEQ” developed single-, two-, three- and four-roll crushers. Rolls surface can be smooth or toothed.

Crushers with smooth or fluted rolls are used for crushing of medium strength materials; toothed roll crushers are used for crushing of black coal and other low-strength materials. Special crushers for breakage of hot agglomerate with the temperature of 600-850 °С were developed. Shafts of these crushers are hollow for water circulation as a cooling.

In building materials industry for processing of clay mass and for removing the stones from it are used so-called disintegrator rollers. They consist of two rolls, the first roll 1 with a larger diameter has a smooth surface, and the working surface of the second roll 3 with a smaller diameter has the ribs of height 8-10 mm. Ribbed roll makes 500-600 rpm, and smooth roll makes 50-60 rpm.

Roller crushers of different design are widely used especially as part of crushing-and-screening plants.

Plate feeders are designed for uniform feed of loose materials from bins, hoppers and other reservoirs into the working machines or transporters

Feed of other materials is assumed if they comply with technical characteristics.

LLC “CEMEQ” developed a plate feeder ПП 1-15-90.

Plate feeder working element which is transporting the material is a belt consisting of plates which are connected together in closed-link chain. Special form and design of belt help to prevent spillage of transported material. Two lines of rollers serve as a guide for the upper part of belt plates when they are in motion. The lower part is supported by several roller pairs. Feeder belt is operated by electric motor which operates driven shaft of the feeder through reduction gear and chain drive. Tightening screw mechanism is used for adjustment of feeder tension.
